Appointments

Our scheduling coordinator will be happy to answer any questions you may have and schedule your dental visit. We encourage morning appointments for children age four and under when they are well rested and more likely to enjoy themselves.

We realize that your time is important to you and we appreciate the time you are taking to come to our office. An appointment time will be specifically reserved for you to ensure that quality, personalized dental care is delivered in a convenient, timely manner. Please understand that unexpected dental emergencies do occur and delays in our schedule may result, however, every attempt will be made to remain on schedule as much as possible.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours advance notice. This gives us the opportunity to give the appointment to another patient in need. There may be a charge for broken or cancelled appointments unless this notice is given. In addition, dismissal from the practice may be made for repetitive broken appointments without notifying the office.

Insurance

We accept Most major PPO insurance, Texas Medicaid, Texas CHIP.

If you are covered by Dental Insurance, please bring the insurance information and current identification with you.  Once we have confirmed your insurance eligibility, we will be happy to file the insurance claim as a courtesy on your behalf; however, we do require any deductibles and patient portions be paid at time of service.  We will assist you in estimating your portion of the fee for dental services; yet, we cannot guarantee what your insurance company will pay on a claim, and ultimately the patient or the parent that is accompanying the child and making treatment decisions will be responsible for the balance.

Please understand your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. Insurance benefits are a method of reimbursement, not a substitute for payment. In many cases, your insurance benefits may not cover the full cost of dental care. It is designed to reduce your cost, but not to eliminate it completely. Our office is committed to helping our patients maximize the insurance benefits available under their policy.

Financial

Payment is due at the time treatment is rendered, unless other arrangements have previously been made. We accept cash, credit cards (MasterCard®, Visa®, and Discover®).

For those patients with dental insurance, your portion of fees including fees that are paid to you directly by the insurance company will be due at the time of service.  We are happy to file the necessary insurance forms to help you receive full benefits of your coverage.  We do this by verifying your insurance when provided with your insurance card and entering your plan into our database. The computer then estimates what the insurance will pay. Keep in mind all insurance companies include a disclaimer saying verification does not guarantee payment. Due to the thousands of insurance plans we ask that you know your benefits for it would be impossible for us to know them all.  Each insurance plan is unique in what services they will allow. Insurance is an agreement between the patient and their carrier. We always do our best to see that you receive the full benefits of your policy.

Outside financing is also available through CareCredit for more extensive treatment.  We require that you complete a CareCredit application and be approved for this line of credit at the onset of your treatment.  CareCredit offers 6, 12 month plans with competitive rates and no pre-payment penalty. Please ask us for more information about CareCredit.
